Although you are permitted to drop out of the Olympics, you truly should not unless it is totally unavoidable. The Olympics is the culmination of the recreational program every year and is part of our program. This is what the athletes having been working so hard for.
Don't regret removing your athlete from this big event, their peers will be talking about it and working toward it in each class!

Gymnastics Tip of the Month
Enhancing your balance is key to excelling in gymnastics. Follow these steps to boost your stability:
1. Perfect Your Posture: Stand tall with good posture with chin up, shoulders back, and core muscles tight.
2. Practice on the Beam: Stand on a balance beam for 10-20 seconds, focusing on maintaining steady alignment.
3. Single-Leg Balances: Shift your weight to one leg and hold for 10 seconds. Try with your right leg, then your left.
4. Directional Balance: While on the beam, extend one leg to the front, back, right, and left, holding each position for 10 seconds. Switch legs and repeat.
